Alternate Donation Methods

To donate through community foundations, donor-advised funds, or private foundations: 

 

Sehgal Foundation, a United States-based 501(c)(3) tax-exempt private charity, has a partnership agreement with India Development and Relief Fund (IDRF), a United States-based, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity so that individuals who have accounts with community foundations, donor-advised funds, or private foundations can make contributions to IDRF and designate their donation to go to “Sehgal Foundation.”

 

This agreement allows Sehgal Foundation in the US to provide even greater support to development initiatives in rural India, specifically Transform Lives one school at a time. A special feature of this agreement is that all IDRF fees are covered by Sehgal Foundation so that no part of any contribution goes to administrative overhead. In addition, every dollar donated is matched by Sehgal Foundation, so your donations will go much further. See the IDRF tax-exempt letter at
