Helping Hands For Healthy Communities

In 1952, Public Health Centers (PHs) were introduced in India with the noble objective to enhance healthcare accessibility and affordability in rural areas
Helping Hands collaborates with S M Sehgal Foundation to extend its support to a PHC, so it can effectively fulfill the health needs of the community it serves.
Healthcare is a necessity, not a privilege
S M Sehgal empowers rural communities to strengthen the functioning and sustenance of public infrastructure.
Our goal is to make the PHC in Chegunta Village, Medak District, fully functional by mobilizing and training ASHA workers to maximize usage of the facility by community members. This PHC will be restored with facilities like a drinking water system, wall repair, and other structural components.
This will serve as a model of replication in other villages.
